Why Does Water Usage Affect Filter Replacement?

Every water filter has a limited treatment capacity.

A filter installed in a small household may process significantly less water than the same filter installed in a busy office, restaurant or café. The higher the water consumption, the faster the filter's rated capacity may be reached.

6 Months or 12 Months: Which Is More Suitable?

For many applications, the following can be used as a practical starting point:

• Normal residential or lower-usage applications: approximately 12 months.
• Higher-usage office or commercial applications: approximately 6 months may be more appropriate.
• Very high usage: monitor the filter's rated capacity and replace it when necessary, even if it has not reached six or twelve months.

Check the Filter's Rated Capacity

The rated capacity can be just as important as the number of months the cartridge has been installed.
