CERTIFICATIONS & SUSTAINABILITY

Our Waterlogic water coolers have been tried, tested, approved, signed, sealed and certified by the world’s top standards bodies. We are proud of our certificates, and it is testimony to the fact we ensure all of our products are the best they can be.

View our list of certifications that continue to prove our water coolers provide 99.9999% pure water, 100% of the time.

World’s First COVID-secure UVC Water Dispensers

Firewall technology was rigorously tested against the human form of COVID-19 by a team of microbiologists from the University of Arizona led by Dr. Gerba, internationally known for his methodologies for pathogen detection in water and food.

These results demonstrate that Firewall is effective in inactivating the human form of the COVID-19 strain with a reduction of over 99.999%.

The official testing results from the University of Arizona proved the effectiveness of Firewall against COVID-19. The Firewall treated water samples showed an average colony reduction of over 5 log (99.9998%)

SAFE, CLEAN & ENVIRONMENTALLY SUSTAINABLE DRINKING WATER

Energy, fuel and water are all conserved by Waterlogic’s point-of-use water dispensers, providing a clear environmental benefit.

That’s because the cost and carbon emissions involved in transporting, storing and disposing of plastic water bottles are eliminated, having an estimate of 72% in carbon footprint reduction. And the more water you use, the lower your carbon footprint by comparison with a bottled water cooler.

MANUFACTURED WITH RECYCLABLE MATERIALS

All polymers, steels, UV lamps and packaging used for Waterlogic machines are fully recyclable in favour of reducing carbon footprint.

ENVIRONMENT & OZONE FRIENDLY COMPRESSOR GAS

The water dispenser functions with a compressor to produce cold water. Watrerlogic uses non-ozone depleting recycling refrigerant gas, R600a which is a natural and non-toxic refrigerant gas with very low Global Warming Potential (GWP) and zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP).

Bisphenol-A Free Water Coolers

Waterlogic dispensers are guaranteed free from Bisphenol-A.This chemical, widely used in plastic products, has been linked to various health problems. Bisphenol-A or BPA could be linked to pre-cancerous tumours, urinary tract problems and either early or delayed puberty according to the U.S. National Toxicology Program. The chemical has already been deemed a “toxic substance” by the Canadian government.

Unfortunately, it can sometimes be found in water bottles.Tests by the internationally recognised SGS Laboratories in Shanghai have confirmed that no Bisphenol is present in the plastic parts used in our water coolers.Waterlogic machines deliver not just the purest, cleanest and greatest tasting water, but peace of mind too. We are committed to the highest quality and safety levels. Every time.

ETL/CE Safety Standards Compliant Everywhere

Waterlogic POU dispensers meet the stringent safety and environmental standards of North American and European regulators:

ETL certified: North American certificate of conformity of facilities. For further information, visit www.intertek-etlsemko.com

CE certified: European certification that is a manufacturer’s declaration that the product complies with European Union health, safety and environmental protection legislation thus passing CE safety standards.

ISO9001 – Quality Management Systems

Waterlogic is certified to ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems (certified by Intertek International).

ISO 9001 is the internationally accepted standard for well managed organisations that have incorporated the key quality management principles into its operations. Essentially it is a sign that the organisation has in place the systems and processes to ensure a consistent quality of service. Fundamental elements of this standard are shaped around; customer focus, management control and decision making, involvement of main stakeholders and a culture of continuing improvement.

NSF/ANSI Certifications

Performance testing and certification by NSF and ANSI sorts world-leading water dispensers from the also-rans. These two organisations set and regulate national and international safety standards, and Waterlogic has achieved all the following standards:

NSF/ANSI Standard 61:
This is the standard for drinking water system components. It ensures no harmful contaminants could leach or migrate from the product/material into the drinking water. Models with NSF/ANSI Standard 61 are WL 1000 GF, WL 2000 and WL 2500.

NSF/ANSI 55 Class A:
This is the standard for ultraviolet microbiological water treatment systems. Waterlogic Firewall is certified as a Class A system (40,000 uwsec/cm2) designed to disinfect and/or remove microorganisms from contaminated water, including bacteria and viruses, to a safe drinkable level. Which it does with pure genius.

P231:
This is the standard for microbiological water purifiers. Water coolers with this certification meet the exacting health and sanitation standards of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Waterlogic machines have that badge, of course.

International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) Certified

Not all water filtration and treatment products come close to Waterlogic water quality standards. The easily recognisable Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) shield in conjunction with the IAMPO R&T Water Quality Platinum Seal tells you a cooler is safe to use and performs as advertised.

IAPMO R&T is an international, independent, non-profit association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials. Protecting the public’s health and safety for ninety-three years by working with government and industries to implement comprehensive plumbing and mechanical systems around the world.

WRAS Approved

Waterlogic has the approval of the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) in the UK. This tests for water quality and makes sure water dispenser materials and components meet rigorous safety requirements.

WRAS aims to prevent waste, undue consumption, misuse, erroneous measurement or contamination of water by developing and enforcing national and international standards. Waterlogic coolers are WRAS approved products. Another sign of our very high standards.
