World Health Day 2022: Our Planet, Our Health

World Health Day is observed on the 7th of April each year, to gain awareness of the importance of global health. The very first World Health Day was celebrated on April 7, 1950, it is also to mark the founding of the World Health Organisation (WHO) which was on April 7, 1948.
With this year’s theme, Our planet, our health; WHO will be bringing global attention to the actions needed to ensure the wellbeing of humans and the planet. It is estimated that there are 13 million deaths that are related to avoidable environmental causes, such as the climate crisis which is the biggest threat right now.
At GFS, we aim to provide a sustainable water solution to all of our clients. Our efforts might be small compared to the widespread climate crisis, but we will continue to play our part in supporting the environmental efforts and endeavours of WHO.
